Introduction
The IC Knowledge - MEMS Cost Model is designed to enable users to easily estimate manufacturing costs for most MEMS products. The cost model runs inside of Excel, the user makes selections from dropdown menus on 9 worksheets covering the MEMS product, MEMS process(es), Fab and materials, IC process(es), packaging, test and die size. For predefined products there is suggested settings for all of the selections. The user may also define their own product including defining custom MEMS processes.

Revision history
Revision 1000 - updated the IC wafer cost engine to the IC Cost Model 2010 version (all critical data was also updated to the 2010 revision values as well). Updated the MEMS wafer cost - direct labor, indirect labor and utilities rates. Updated MEMS starting wafer costs. Added 100mm and 150mm GaAs wafers as a MEMS material choice. Set depreciation to always be greater than a minimum default value.
Revision 1001 - added ST Micro LPR530AL product. Added LGA16 and LGA28 packages. Fixed a bug with MEMS process 2 material suggestions. Fix a bug with the MEMS process 2 wafer cost calculations. Added QFN 16 with 2 die package.
